Released in 2023, Hogwarts Legacy is an outstanding RPG game that takes you to the fantasy world of Harry Potter. The game was a huge hit, both financially and critically, becoming that year’s best-selling game. In spite performing incredibly well, the game had a few minor glitches across several platforms. The game could do with a little refinement, which is exactly what the latest update offers. Hogwarts Legacy dropped a new patch on July 12, 2024. This update did not have any new additions to the game. Instead, it primarily focused on fixing bugs across several platforms and offering stability and refinement to the gameplay. There have been some larger updates, like the June update that added new features and opened up Hogwarts Legacy Ps5-exclusive content for non-Playstation players. However, smaller updates like this July patch are equally important as they keep the game bug-free and smooth. By releasing this update and polishing the gameplay, Avalnche demonstrated that they listen to their dedicated fanbase. Hogwarts Legacy Ps5 Fixes
When it comes to Ps5, Hogawrts Legacy resolved a couple crashes.
- Players reported that enabling Fidelity mode while activating Raytracing would cause the game to crash. This bug has been fixed in Hogwarts Legacy PS5. HL-18650
- Missing Diffindo combat spell-casting VFX is now fixed. HL-18683
Hogwarts Legacy Xbox Series Fixes
- Addressed a bug that caused pixelated black dots on the screen in the map menus or field guide. HL-14146
- The game would malfunction during the Fastidio boss fight; this issue has been resolved. HL-19030
Hogwarts Legacy PC Fixes
- Using the Portrait Filter in Photo Mode caused unintended artifacting. This glitch has been fixed. HL-19082
- The glitch causing overexposed lighting after updating NVIDIA drivers to the 555.99 version has been fixed. HL-18678
DLC
- Dark Lightning Broom could not be obtained when continuing a previous save after downloading and installing the latest patch. This issue has been resolved in the current update. HL-18766
Localization
- Fixed incorrect Arabic translation in the circular taped glasses pop-up reward screen message.
Photo mode
- Bugs fixed: toggling the HIDE NPCs option didn’t work with some students, dragons, and dementors.
- Resolved the glitch where lack of collision would allow players to see OOW through dungeons’ ceilings.
