Fifa 09 wii online is an improved version of the previous Fifa 08 game. The annoying part is that online it gets disconnected quite frequently. Now there are many new things and different tactics to use in this game. The squads can be updated and you can play against other players. A new way to pass has been added. In the previous version, shooting was not very good and from beyond penalty area, it was almost impossible to score. But, in Fifa 09 (wii) it is, although, not easy to score from outside the area, but perfectly possible. If you get the ball just right, you can wonderfully score a goal. There is an addition of passing. You can play passes with wii where you want and can through balls exactly at your desired point. To become used to, it takes little time and is a great fun after you have perfected it. Optionally you can use less advanced method of playing and play normal style of passing with nun-chuck, but it is less exciting. Press ‘B’ on the position you want to and take free kicks, corners and penalties and to determine power swing remote. By tilting the remote, curl can be added to ball.
This game has many game modes to choose. There is manager mode where taking hot seat you can manage a club of your wish. Before starting game, a sponsor is chosen and the in-box is got updated with many things like expiring contracts. There is an option of tournament where you can choose either a cup or a league to play and make efforts to win. There is footy party mode which consists of four mini games. This is simply to pass time and entertain.
There is online mode, where game can be played against your friend or anyone around the world who happens to be on at that particular point of time. Record of win and lose is kept and you are ranked on a leader board. Interactive League is another amazing way of playing online.
Graphics with shadows, details, commentators and the crowd-cheering are great and things looks real and are decent. If you are a fan of football, the Fifa 09 (wii) is worth playing. In simple words this game is just fantastic
